Tips for beating Rayquaza boss fight

10 things I wish I knew before starting Pokemon Scarlet/Violet

After 200+ hours in these games, here are the tips that would have saved me so much time!

Tips and Tricks

1. Don't ignore the Let's Go feature
Your Pokemon can auto-battle while you explore. This is huge for leveling and item farming!

2. Sandwiches are incredibly powerful
The right sandwich can massively boost shiny odds, encounter rates, and more. Learn the recipes!

3. You can tackle the three storylines in any order
Mix it up! The game is more fun when you're not overleveled for one path.

4. Tera Raids are the best way to get resources
You'll need Tera Shards, EXP Candy, and more. Do raids whenever you can.

5. Mass Outbreaks are shiny hunting goldmines
Check your map regularly - outbreaks have significantly boosted shiny rates.

Pro Tips

6. The auction house in Porto Marinada is useful
You can get evolution items, held items, and rare stuff here.

7. Save your Master Ball for roaming Legendaries
Trust me, you'll want it later for those pesky runners.

8. Breeding is easier than ever
Picnics replace the daycare. Eggs appear fast with the right setup.

9. Nature Mints exist - don't stress about wild natures
You can change any Pokemon's nature with items.

10. The DLC adds significant postgame content
If you enjoy the base game, The Teal Mask and Indigo Disk are worth it.
