Which Pokemon would you want as a real pet?

Hey everyone! Long-time lurker here, finally decided to make my first post.

I've been a Pokemon fan since the original Red and Blue days, and it's amazing to see how far the franchise has come. The graphics, the mechanics, the sheer number of Pokemon - it's all evolved so much!


But you know what hasn't changed? That feeling of excitement when you start a new adventure with your starter Pokemon. It never gets old!

What generation did you start with? Do you still have fond memories of your first Pokemon game?

Any tips for someone who's new to competitive battling?
