Best Pokemon game and why?

I honestly think the newer Pokemon games are just as good as the classics. Yes, I said it! While I love the nostalgia of Gen 1 and 2, the quality of life improvements in recent games make them so much more enjoyable.


Think about it:

- No more HM slaves

- Exp Share for the whole team

- Easy access to competitive features

- Better online functionality

Sure, some things were better "back in the day," but overall, I think the franchise has improved significantly. What's your take?

I'm with you! While I cherish my memories of Red and Blue, the quality-of-life changes in games like Scarlet and Violet are undeniable. Plus, some of the new Pokemon designs are just amazing!

I can see where you're coming from! The QoL stuff is HUGE, but I still think the stories and world-building in some of the older games, like Gen 5's Black/White, are unmatched. What do you think about the newer storylines compared to the older ones?
